Lyrical poetry

I write words on paper
That sounds like a song
I put words right
Make them sound tight
I’m a poet
I need not explain
I give the chance
Hear it now
Time is not on our side
Love letters
Hate notes
Suicide notes
All in one
I do the most
I might be a joke
But you’ll sing along
Fall for words
But I forgot who put the letters together
My words define me
